through her eyes

The wind can chill your bones if you let it

Like thoughts that poison the mind if you regret them

The fire can burn the things you worked up on

Flame by flame like ashes, until they’re gone

Holy water stopped me from being saved

The things I needed internal, I was amazed

There, was no door or window that I could open

No border that I can cross to see roses without thorns there

The winter snow it got me once upon

The season changed though all was not the same

Now I see the fall, leaves shed the dawn

While all the watermarks remain

The trees would cry if they had eyes to see

The gray of clouds leaves sadness in the sky

Can someone turn the flames down please?

I hope that nature sees me through her eyes
